Hi, I’m Jenna Broughton. I started Instant Grativacation back in 2011 to share my escapades—both in faraway places and right here in my adopted home of San Francisco. Over the years, the blog has taken on many shapes, but at its heart, it’s always been about connection, experience, and the joy of discovery.

 

Previously, I worked as a freelance journalist covering agriculture and food—digging into where our food comes from and the people behind it. Writing has always been my first love, and after some time away, I’ve found my way back to it.

 

Relaunched in late 2024, Instant Grativacation now focuses on the stories behind food, travel, and drinks. It’s not about reviews or rankings—just the places I loved and how they made me feel. Thanks for being here. I hope you’ll join me on this next chapter.
